Privacy Policy & Zero-Logging Guarantee

Effective Date: October 15, 2026 | Governing Domain: whatismyipwiki.cc

1. Core Principles: Zero IP Retention

At WhatIsMyIP Wiki, we operate under an uncompromising privacy doctrine: We do not record, store, sell, or profile your IP address. Our IP detection and connection diagnostic utilities execute completely client-side via asynchronous queries inside your local web browser.

2. Server Log Policies (Apache Static Hosting)

Our web servers are hosted as a static deployment behind Cloudflare Pages / Apache. We deliberately disable standard combined web access logging for individual user IP lookups:

  • Retention Period: 0 seconds for IP lookups. We maintain zero database instances.
  • No User Profiling: We never aggregate visitor IPs for commercial retargeting or behavioral ad bidding.
  • CDN Edge Telemetry: Cloudflare edge routing complies with strict privacy metrics where client telemetry is discarded or anonymized according to standard RFC compliance.

3. Third-Party Diagnostic Endpoints

When you execute the IP detection tools on our site, your browser queries public discovery APIs directly (such as ipapi.co or cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace) to verify public gateway details. These requests transit between your browser and those respective public endpoints without passing through our own servers.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not deploy intrusive third-party cross-site advertising cookies. We exclusively use browser localStorage for saving non-sensitive UI preferences (such as your chosen display language en / zh). You may clear your browser data at any time without degrading functionality.

5. Commercial Transparency & Affiliate Links

Some product review pages include outbound affiliate links. Clicking an affiliate link navigates you to external third-party merchant sites governed by their own independent privacy terms. We do not transmit any personal identifiers or search logs to these merchants.

6. Contact & Data Correction
